I don’t give details of my rates here because every job is different and needs pricing individually. There are a few things to take into account.

The place of work – I prefer to work from my own office rather than yours. It saves me cluttering up your place, helps me balance the needs of all my clients and keeps my costs down. A saving and flexibility I pass to you.

The type of work – I can either write pieces from scratch by talking to key contacts or edit information supplied, whether that’s turning formal reports into engaging press releases or collating various pieces of information into an annual report.

Tales of the Unexpected – I don’t spring any new costs on my clients. I don’t charge for expenses such as phone calls or travel unless it’s out of the ordinary, but if there is anything out of the ordinary, we can discuss and agree charges in advance.

I’ll discuss a job with you, assess how long it will take then give you a price. We’ll look at the project scope and parameters, and as long as the job stays within those, that’s the price you’ll pay.

While we may agree some kind of daily rate, that time isn’t then tied to a particular day of the week – it’s a flexible agreement that gets the work done in the most effective way.

I will also offer discounted rates for public services, thanks to my ongoing belief in their importance and the need to make the most of every penny spent.
